What online video sites are any good besides YouTube?

Did you know there are all kinds of other video sites out there? There really are. However, after looking at the list below, I wonder if it’s really not all that original to start this kind of article.

I rank these sites in order from best to worst (or so I think). Take a look and see what you think…

1. YouTube- This one has to be number 1 on the list, right? Or does it? I mean it is an awesome website. It’s very user friendly and you can find just about anything there. One of my favorite things is that you don’t have to have any kind of account to watch videos on there. They have a great way of allowing people to share videos and put them on the site. Plus, if you want to know how it all works, just look at Justin Bieber or Rebecca Black and you’ll see that anyone can upload a video and become famous on YouTube. The only problem with YouTube is that if you want to upload anything else, your videos will show up in search results and you can find yourself in the middle of a bunch of random videos that aren’t related to whatever you’re trying to show.

2. Dailymotion- Maybe not as popular as YouTube, but still an awesome site. It’s very similar with the only difference being what’s shown on the page- there are no suggestions or related videos. You simply upload and start watching.

3. Vimeo- This site is really for those who appreciate art and creativity. It’s sort of like YouTube, but it looks so much better! Some people say the only thing good about this website is that you can download things from there (which isn’t even legal). I enjoy it because it has a small community and the website is so easy to use.

4. Veoh- This site deserves some credit. It’s not very popular, but it’s really good for finding new movies and music videos from little known bands/artists who you might not have heard of otherwise. There are no ads which is cool too.

5. Facebook- Although I’m not a fan of the website itself, it does have a way to share videos with your friends. You can easily post videos on your wall and then people can watch them when they log in to facebook.com. This site is basically for sharing things privately, but there are other sites that do this much more, so I don’t really see the need for this one.

6. Blip.tv- This site is for those who enjoy technology and learning more about it. It has web shows made by people just like you who have interesting things to say. I’m not a huge fan of this website, but there are some good videos on there.

7. Metacafe- This website is it’s own little world with tiny videos that aren’t very appealing and don’t last very long (unless you’re watching a movie). I’m not really sure why anyone would go to this site unless they really enjoy wasting time looking at stupid things for five seconds or so.

8. Dailymotion V2- This is Dailymotion’s attempt at copying YouTube. It includes the same features of Dailymotion, but with suggested videos. I guess it kind of makes sense to have them together…

9. Google Video- This isn’t exactly a video site, but you can upload and watch videos here. It’s basically just for searching videos and there’s no way to upload anything new. I didn’t know this was still around, but it must be because their video site is ranked 10th on Google’s list of top websites.

10. Yahoo Video- This isn’t that great if you ask me. It has nothing special to offer and the videos load really slowly compared to other sites. If you want to search for a video, this is the place, but it’s so hard to find anything good!

There are plenty of other popular video sites out there, but these are my favorites from what I’ve been seeing throughout the years. What do you think?

How can I promote web hosting providers as an affiliate for free?

How can I promote web hosting providers as an affiliate for free? Great question. There are so many web hosting companies out there and some of them offer great deals! If you want to become a legitimate affiliate, you will need to be able to offer high value website hosting services with your own recommendations. This guide will show you how to do it and how to be successful at it!

There are many different methods that you can use to promote web hosting services. You could:

a.) Create a website targeted towards hosting services and nature of your content will all be related to hosting, making sure not to mention any specifics about host A versus host B. This is good if you want to be able to advertise any hosting company you would like in the future.

b.) Create a website that is specifically targeted towards one host and promote them as an affiliate. This is great if you already know which web hosting company you will be promoting, but it limits your ability to advertise other companies later on without having a new website built.

Creating a New Affiliate Website

Creating a website targeted toward hosting is ideal if you intend to promote multiple companies in the future! No matter what niche or industry your website goes after, it’s important that you have specific pages talking about web hosting and what it has to offer. This will be very helpful for search engine optimization.

If you are a highly skilled web developer, you can build a website from scratch to be targeted toward hosting. If not, there are plenty of affordable web design companies that will design the website for you at any budget.

All your content must look professional and provide informative value! Don’t just create a site using pre-made templates, try to have a unique design that is targeted toward your specific niche.

Affiliate Disclosure Policy – Important!

It’s very important that you make sure you have an affiliate disclosure policy on your website so the web hosting company knows exactly who you are, and it also helps maintain transparency towards visitors of your site. Without this policy, you could be violating FTC guidelines, and that is a big no-no when it comes to affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Disclaimer Example:

“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”

Here is a helpful site that provides text for your disclaimer.

Getting Traffic to Your Web Hosting Affiliate Website

So, you have a website all ready to go with an affiliate disclosure policy in place? Congrats! Now it’s time to get some traffic going and make money! There are different ways to do this, but the easiest method is to use article directories and social media.

Article directories will provide a backlink to your site helping with search engine optimization, while social media will help people find your website when they are searching for web hosts.

Here are some examples of great websites you can post articles on:

StumbleUpon – You can submit articles to StumbleUpon and target the right users.

Webmaster World – This website focuses on hosting and can be a great place to submit articles and links to your website.

Reddit – reddit is a community that shares articles and other content as voted on by the users of reddit. This is a great way to get your articles noticed fast!

Weebly – This site has a free article submission option where you can submit a link to one of your articles.

Social media is another great way to get traffic and visitors to your website! Lucky for you, we have written several posts on ways that you can use social media to promote your web hosting affiliate website.

Pinterest – Pinterest is a visually based social media site that can provide you with traffic if you have good photos that are related to your content.

So, we’ve talked about different ways to get traffic and how-to’s on making money through affiliate marketing, but we haven’t really mentioned the different types of web hosting companies that you can promote. Not all web hosting companies are made equal, so when choosing which one to promote, you must consider factors such as your audience, the services that each company has to offer, etc. Here are some popular web hosts in no particular order:

What do you think about digital marketing?

It’s an industry term for the use of digital technologies to attract potential customers to different products. It can be used for marketing fundraising, promoting not-for-profit ventures, and attracting activity within business environments.

The people who are cashing in at the moment are those who have expertise in SEO – search engine optimisation skills – which is essentially optimising websites so that they rank highly when you do a Google search. This includes by making it easy for Googlebots to crawl your site, ensuring that there are no disparities between mobile and desktop versions of your pages, having quality content including key words on every page plus backlinks from other sites pertinent to your interests. With so many businesses now leveraging digital platforms as their main point of contact with customers, there is significant demand for these services.

The trick to success in the digital marketing world is knowing what will drive consumer behaviour and spending your money on actually getting those results – not throwing all kinds of messages out there hoping something sticks. It’s about being extremely targeted with your messages to an audience that you know are interested and motivated with a product or service that is valuable enough for them to take the next step.

A good example is the recent video I released on how we can drastically reduce household waste and even turn it into a valuable resource. With over 2.5 million views in just two weeks, generating interest from all around Australia as well as New Zealand and America, there is now significant demand for me to present the information in workshops and courses so that people can take practical action. This would never have happened if I’d just put up a normal post about recycling.

There are other elements to be aware of including branding – branding yourself as well as your business or product, storytelling to make it more emotionally engaging – and the use of video which is on the rise. The first step is to leverage all your digital assets including social media channels like Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest etc as well as email marketing before working out how best you can reach your market.

Start by getting clear on who are main audience is and what their needs are. From that you can gather data and information so you can create a specific and targeted marketing plan to meet their needs. Google is the number one source for this with tools like Google Analytics helping to determine how people interact with your business or website. You can even use it to reach out to them directly via forms on your website or mobile apps.

As more people start to recognise that happiness does not lie in consumerism, more options are becoming available for people to make choices that are both sustainable and affordable. I’m very much looking forward to seeing how this develops over the coming months as there is already significant demand for these types of resources.

How can I start the Amazon affiliate marketing step by step?

Step 1: Find a niche

-Figuring out your topic is key, as this determines what products to target as an affiliate for. For example, if you picked travel as your niche, you would choose between different destinations. If books was the niche, you could decide to go with fiction or non-fiction categories.

Step 2: Create a piece of content

This part is really up to the inclination of the individual wanted to incorporate into this business strategy. The idea here is that by creating content that links back and relates in some way to the potential company’s brand/products/pages on Amazon, there will be MORE chances for return traffic from interested readers because they’re coming from inside the needed site (your own).

For instance, if you are looking to market a Kindle book about cooking with quinoa, there are TONS of websites out there that serve up recipes. Perhaps one of these sites may have an upcoming piece that you can pitch the idea to them for your own brand/product/page on Amazon’s website. If not or even if they agree, you can always create your own piece of content, using a few choice keywords related to what you are looking to promote. This way, the reader will arrive at the blog post/article/page with a solid understanding of who is being talked about and what it’s being done from before they decide to buy into this idea or not. If you have a working relationship with other affiliate bloggers or marketers already, it’s also good to shoot them a quick query about your products/brands/pages as well as what kind of content they normally post about.

Step 3: Determining the best performing products for you and poking around on their sites to see if there are any holes

-This part is particularly helpful to see what other products are being sold alongside yours. If you’ve picked up a book on quinoa that is also being promoted for avocado oil, it’s good to have at least that reminder to help remind yourself of other related items or possible ideas.

Step 4: Targeting the best keywords for your specific niche

-Although this article is primarily focused on Amazon affiliate marketing, it’s important to not forget about SEO (search engine optimization) when it comes to writing your content in an optimized manner. For the cooking quinoa example given in step 2, there are plenty of good keywords that can be targeted for things like “healthy recipes” or maybe “vegan recipes”.

-In addition to this, it would be a good practice to see what kind of products are displayed on the top spots of Amazon’s search results. If you notice anything that is missing from your own product/page/brand page, it might be a good idea to use those holes as keywords, or at least find out what the top keywords are.

-A good hint step in this process is to check for Amazon’s advertising platform, where you can see what kind of ads are running alongside their search results. This way, you know who the competition is and how they’re getting there.

Step 5: Finding your product pages on Amazon

Once all your research is done, it’s time to start poking around at what you’ve found. Figure out which best performing products are being sold right now on the site and which ones would be most appealing to your audience/clients/readers that have been coming back because of the content you’ve already produced for them. If there are any holes in where the information is being displayed, it’s a good idea to fill them in. At the same time, seeing which products are being sold with low reviews and/or bad ratings may be a sign of a product worth doing a better review of.

Step 6: Testing on an ad campaign on Amazon’s platform

If you have been working with another blogger, marketer or friends that have some experience with Amazon affiliate marketing, you might be able to get together a small test campaign to see how it goes. In addition, if you have spent any amount of time on Google shopping and know how their system works, there are various ad campaigns out there within their interface as well. Just make sure not to duplicate the same ad on both pages at once, as Google Shopping will simply drop your bid price if you do.

Step 7: Optimizing based on the results from step 6

-If it is a small campaign, make sure to track everything carefully and look over what keywords are being used. Once again, these keywords should be related to the product while at the same time not matching up with any other similar products to avoid ad cannibalization.

-If it is an ad campaign, optimize based on CTR (click-through rate) and CPC (cost per click) to see what’s working best for your audience. If you notice that certain keywords aren’t performing well enough, drop them and prioritize the other keywords.

-While all of this is being done, continue to work on your SEO content strategy so you have plenty of blog posts for people typing in the main keywords related to your niche that are also ranking well in Google search. This should be a continuous process while at the same time always looking out for new ways to tie it all together.

-If things are going well enough, it may be worth starting to scale this up into a bigger campaign that can bring in more clicks and sales for your products on Amazon. If not, you might have found out some keywords don’t work as well compared to others so there’s no point trying to continue driving traffic with them. Delete the ad campaign and try again with a new one that has better performing keywords from your research from step 5.

-Throughout all of this, make sure to stay on top of the organic search rankings for any product pages you’ve added in Step 7. If anything is slipping, it may be time to reoptimize some things and carry on.

I hope this article has been helpful for anyone that’s looking into ways to get started with Amazon affiliate marketing. I know it may be a long process, but the nice thing about this is that you can do everything from the comfort of your own home and there isn’t any outlay costs apart from what you would spend normally on Adwords campaigns. If you’d like to discuss this further or have some questions, feel free to contact me at any time! Cheers.

Why Tesla cars are the best!

Tesla cars are the best because Tesla is one of the only electric car companies that manufactures its own batteries, meaning that it doesn’t have to pay another company to make them. This leaves more money for other parts and creates a better product.

Another reason Tesla cars are the best is because they’re loaded with amazing technology. On their website, you can see all of the autopilot features, which are features that make the car semi-autonomous. Tesla cars are also equipped with self-driving hardware, meaning that they can eventually become fully autonomous once software is developed for them.

Most electric cars have a range of about 100 miles before they have to be recharged, but Tesla has thousands! Tesla claims that you can drive anywhere between 215 and 250 miles on a single charge.

The final reason is because they’re environmentally friendly. Gas cars pollute the environment with greenhouse gases, but electric cars cut down on emissions significantly. As stated above, Tesla makes its own batteries which improves the health of the planet even more!

Tesla is also innovating constantly. I own a Model S, and every time I get in the car there’s a new update for it! When it first came out, the only options were to buy it, or not. Now Tesla has so many features available that you can literally configure your car any way you like!

For all of these reasons and more, Tesla is the best. It’s cars are loaded with technology and improve our planet in multiple ways. I couldn’t ask for a better car, but if I did, it would definitely be a Tesla

Why is affiliate marketing the best way to make money for beginners?

Affiliate marketing is a process of earning money by promoting other people’s products and getting a commission for each purchased item. I know that sounds kinda shady but it really isn’t! And it can be a great way to get started with making money online because there’s no startup cost or risk, you can work from behind your own computer, laptop or tablet and even on the go from your mobile.

If you have an interest in some niche field like fashion, beauty, sports – you have the best chance of success if you find some brand(s) in that niche field and use them as affiliate! There are two ways of doing this:

1) You personally choose to promote some company X

2) Choose to promote an affiliate app

That second one sounds pretty cool – I guess it’s kinda like the new trend in the web 2.0 era where people join some website and can get paid for recommending other companies to sign up at this same platform! Well, platforms such as ShareASale or ClickBank are websites that help you find suitable products to promote. You sign up, browse through the offers and then you pick one that interests you!

This is what I did when I first got started with affiliate marketing:

I signed up with ClickBank and bought a few books on how to market effectively online, why not give it a try?! This way I could learn about all the amazing things I could do with affiliate marketing – so if I didn’t choose this one particular freelancing gig, freelancing guru would have made me some money regardless! Here’s a list of best books on affiliate marketing:

The first book is for complete beginners and will teach you how to build your first website and make it profitable. It will also point you in the direction of good hosting services and tools that you can use when building your site.

The second one is for beginners but also entrepreneurs who want to increase conversions on their existing website (or build a new one). It goes into much more detail about how to convert visitors into customers, buyers and subscribers.

It doesn’t matter whether you decide to go for option one or two, you will need to build your website! It could be a simple blog where you write articles about the topic of interest and point out products that are worth buying. Or it can be a fully-fledged eCommerce portal which sells items directly from manufacturers – but the latter is much more complicated and requires some coding and design skills!

So, you’ve decided to go for affiliate marketing and built your website – now what? You need to decide on a payment method which is the easiest and most common: PayPal! Just make sure not to spam your links all over the internet as it’s against their TOS. Also, avoid low quality websites from Russia or the Philippines as they tend to spam links everywhere and will get your account banned.

Another important aspect is content. Most services will allow you to create a website with a given set of themes, but if you want to be taken seriously by Google then you need to put some extra work into creating truly unique content that provides true value for potential customers

Many places you go, there are rules and regulations for how to drive safely. But every once in a while, some places have really weird laws about driving. I’m sure many of them make sense but then again some of these laws don’t seem that logical! Let’s take a look at some of the zaniest driving laws out there!

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT vs BMW M235i!

The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is a great car, but the BMW M235i has it beat. I liked that both cars drive really well and have good acceleration, not to mention their high top speeds. However, my favorite thing about the M235i was its cornering ability on curvy roads as opposed to the AMG GT’s. While the AMG GT was able to corner well enough, it didn’t have quite as flat of a line or tight of a turn radius as the M235i and seemed slightly less nimble than its competitor.

Another thing I liked about the M235i was that it had a tighter turning radius, especially in its parking maneuverability when compared to the AMG GT.

Why I Love My BMW Alpine 2011

By Shawn S.

Simple answer…Its sexy!!!

I love this car sooooooooooooooooooooo much.

Yup , thats what i’ve got to say about it. If someone asked me! Why do you have a BMW? Oh god, that would be humiliating for me & for the car too coz thats not just a piece of machinery, its an emotion. Its something that completes me!!

I’ll start from the very beginning..

Back then I was working in another company on completely opposite work profile that one would expect from me. So instead of enjoying my life to fullest i used to spend most of the time asleep. I literally used to sleep for around 16-18 hours a day! And believe me, i wasn’t snoring at all! Hahaha…

And since i was going to work late pretty often, one of my friends told me about a BMW showroom that is open till “late” after office. So I went with him to see the cars and i was in love, deeply in love. There were so many options and features and all this technology is just so overwhelming. It makes you go crazy about it.

I can’t really tell y’all that how did it happen but then what happens when your emotions are involved! Hahahaha..

I started dreaming about that car, i could see it, smell it..suddenly my life looked different. I used to go back home & sleep like a baby coz i knew that in the morning i’ll get up and go for my new job (imagine me saying this with pride). And yeah! You guessed it right, suddenly i found myself working for this, BMW.

I started loving my job..i was literally living my dream. And now after 2 years of being associated with this company I have seen so many things happen around me…so many people who are & were an integral part of the success story…the gals & guys out there at Chennai showroom, the marketing team (Oh yes, there is marketing department) and the people who make me learn about the car every day.

I just cant thank BMW enough for giving me the opportunity and for making people like me fall in love with this car.

There were times when i used to get irritated coz of high maintenance costs, but hey how much can you blame a beautiful lady for her beauty! It’s not her fault.

She is everything that she makes you feel.

She loves you, she cares for you…she understands what exactly is your life all about & gives you the ride of your life!!!

I can give up my job, leave this beautiful country for anything i want right now..but there’s just one thing that holds me back. Its not BMW though!!

This beauty, this feeling of driving it, this smell of leather seats and the sweet sound system is one big reason why i love my BMW.

Yet again i’ll say, “I Love You.”

That’s all I gotta tell you.
