How do you hope to change the way technology is used in marketing over the next few years?

To me, technology is about putting the tools in place that allow for change. The greatest use of marketing technology is to make use of it, but truly effective technologies are those which make this process seamless and almost invisible.

I like how my CallRail contact center caller ID captures my customer’s screen each time they call. It lets me look at their website and see what page they’re on. I like how my HubSpot contact center caller ID tracks the time of every call so I can measure which channels are driving conversions at different times of day.

I like how my ActiveCampaign contact center caller ID records the entire phone conversation so I can listen to it later to hear things that may have been said too quick for me to catch.

Without these kinds of technologies in place, getting insight into how your customers are interacting with your business is not only difficult, but takes more time. These tools have allowed us to be more proactive and run campaigns that are data driven rather than guesswork.

These types of technologies help marketers become more efficient, allowing them to focus on what matters most to their customers.

With the advancement of technologies, I believe marketers are now expected to keep up with it and should be able to adopt new technology as soon as possible. Marketing automation seems like a very useful tool for many different businesses because it allows you to send timed emails or other messages based on actions that a customer takes. It also allows you to see what your customers are most engaged with and take action from there.

I hope to be able to encompass all of these tools in my future marketing practices because they help me achieve my goals as well as help the clients themselves. In order for marketers to keep up with ever changing technology, I believe it’s important to research all of the capabilities and opportunities available to see what will be most beneficial for everyone.

I hope that marketers continue to adapt as quickly as possible with new changes in technology so that they can always provide their clients with the best service. In order to do that, it’s important to research all of the new options available in order to stay on top.

A marketing professional should be willing and able to adopt any technology or software available if it’s going to lead to more successful outcomes for their customers.
